Proven Advocate, SF Urbanite,  Hopeless Visionary

Designing Client Success Strategies Since 1991

Jim’s experience is reinforced by numerous awards and distinctions since beginning his real estate career in 1991 with Zephyr Real Estate. His personal and tailored approach is grounded by corporate management experience with dynamic organizations and a history of diverse and challenging front-line Realtor experiences ... including the intensely competitive 90's dot-com market in San Francisco and time navigating unique challenges presented by short sales and foreclosures during a distressed and declining market in Southern California.

Navigating dynamically changing and sophisticated markets has seasoned Jim’s ability to identify sensible purchases for clients, position buyers to win, find creative alternatives for those priced out of the market and position sellers to achieve top dollar peace of mind and his success has been rewarded by an ever expanding network of respecting peers and a solid base of happy and loyal clients.

Jim has been noted to have a knack for approaching marketing with out-of-the box creativity and for maintaining an optimistic perspective.   Clients admire his can do spirit, willingness to roll up his sleeves to help make it happen and his characteristic nurturing style that can guide with peaceful confidence. When an unexpected fire arises, Jim thinks on his feet and is able to change course on a dime ... demonstrating the true value of having an experienced advocate in insane markets.

Jim is the thirteenth in Zephyr Real Estate's history and most recent recipient of Zephyr’s coveted “Golden Z” award for his committed community service.  Jim has personally raised more than $70,000 for HIV/AIDS prevention and services having logged in thousands of training miles on his bicycle and making multiple rides from San Francisco to Los Angeles with AIDS Lifecycle – the annual 545 mile, 7 day ride that takes place each June.

Jim grew up in Western Massachusetts, received a degree in Management from Bentley University and landed in San Francisco in 1985.  He's been a homeowner, an investor, charitable fundraiser and an untamed explorer of San Francisco breakfast joints.
